PEOPLE

We are a mix of PhD, post-docs, undergrads and Masters with expertise in fluid mechanics and computational mathematics.

RESEARCH

We focus on numerical methods for the study of fundamental multiphase turbulence and applied engineering flows.

GALLERY

Multiphase flow simulations make for often striking visuals.

ABOUT US

CTFLab is a research laboratory led by Prof. Olivier Desjardins in the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University. Our research vision is to rapidly advance first-principle-based computational modeling of turbulent multiphase flows and facilitate the adoption of these models by engineers and scientists to help solve societal problems with application to energy science and engineering.
